An Ever Changing Journey
In 2013, A Door to Hope entered a growing season that brought much growth, challenge and even change. It was a season that birthed new dreams, new programs, new employees and a new journey. That year Chris Ward joined the family of A Door to Hope as our new Director of Missions. His passion for ministry, for Haiti and for the Gospel contributed immensely to the growth of the work of ADTH. In 2014, Chris, his wife Jenn and his daughter Brynna, took a leap of faith and moved to Haiti. In this, not only were their personal lives changed forever but the ministry that Father was doing through ADTH and the Ward's impacted lives in Haiti for eternity.
Many of you know that Chris and his family have been called to serve within the Living Hope ministry in Friendswood, Texas. Though change is hard, especially in ministry after building such strong relationships, we know that Father has a perfect plan for both the Wards and for His ministry of A Door to Hope. We are so thankful for the time we were given to serve Haiti with our brother and his family. We know that those of you who were also given the opportunity to serve with the Wards in Haiti count it a great privilege and blessing. Thank you Chris, for your passion for the Lord, for your heart and for the time that you served within A Door to Hope.
As for our team/ family here at A Door to Hope we are excited as we anticipate what the near future holds as the Lord continues to mold this ministry with His perfect hands. Thank you for walking and praying in this journey with us.
