MONDAY
It is time to get to work! We head out to our first trip projects, which could consist of painting, home building, repairs for a school building or something similar. Our chosen project work is based on the current needs of the people. After lunch, we head over to the church to lead Vacation Bible School and Discipleship Training. The team comes together for dinner, a devotion, and a recap of the day to discuss highs and lows.

THURSDAY
Today is a big day for us as a group. We distribute more food to families in the morning and go on a prayer walk in the evening. There may be time to squeeze in a bit of project work. This day is full of opportunities to form bonds with the local Haitians and share the love of Jesus! At dinner, the group talks about the day’s events and takes time for a devotion.

FRIDAY
And on the seventh day, God rested. It’s our chance to do the same. Friday is a free day for the group. We break the fast and then head to the market to find some special items to take home for loved ones. After lunch, we take off for the beach or a water park for some much needed relaxation. On our way to dinner, the group stops by a house that we recently built and drops off a rocking chair for the front porch, a signature gift of ADTH. Once we get back to our guest house, it’s time to pack up, as our flight leaves very early the next morning.
