Meet Pastor Echelet Charles. He is pastor of Eglise Baptiste Conservatrice de Callebasse, Haiti. Like most pastors, his goal is to minister to his people's needs, spiritually, physically and emotionally, but the needs are so many. His people are hungry, lack shelter, and need to be discipled.
He says he is, many times, overwhelmed knowing that he and his church cannot minister effectively to the vast numbers of people in the mountain villages around them. But he trusts God and prays daily for the provisions they need. ADTH has partnered with this man in this church to meet some of those needs. 
Through our 3 new "Hope programs" "The Key", "The Blocks, and "The Foundation", we are providing much-needed assistance in their ministry to these beautiful mountain communities.
After three years of building houses, repair, education, and feeding programs at the Church and school, and just loving on the people, side-by-side with the church, Pastor Echelet says he's begun to see a change. He says he used to be known as "the poor country pastor" but now the people call him "the pastor who really helps". He is seeing his church grow tremendously in the process.
As we continue to partner with more churches in Haiti, our prayer is to see pastors, like Pastor Eschlet, fulfill their goals and dreams to see their church grow and watch the Kingdom of God advance thru loving and serving people.
